  • Education Policy Analysis Archives (EPAA) - Published electronically at the College of Education of Arizona State University. Peer-reviewed scholarly journal on education policy at all levels and in all nations. Abstracts and full text.
  • The Times Higher Education Supplement - Highlights, headlines and digests from the current issue of The Times Higher Education Supplement, plus job ads in the higher education sector on the Tuesday before Friday's paper.
  • Reinventing Schools: The Technology Is Now - By National Academy of Sciences. A colorful, magazine-style publication, urging school to take advantage of today's rapidly evolving technology.
  • From Now On: Educational Technology Journal - Published by Jamieson McKenzie, (mckenzie@pacificrim.net). A free monthly electronic journal published since 1991 with a focus upon educational technologies.
  • Campus Voice - an editorial poster seen on 354 campuses nationwide, has covered trends and news relevant to the college community for 14 years. Now on the Web.
  • e-journal - A major resource for finding on-line academic journals. Peer-reviewed, student-reviewed, and non-reviewed journals comprise separate categories. Journal pre-print services are also indexed. For a well-organized and up-to-date general list of journals and newsletters on the web, try NewJour.
  • Education Journal Annotations - A richly annotated list of periodicals whose focus is K-12 education, including both research journals and children's magazines. Developed and maintained by the staffs of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Instructional Materials Center and the Kansas State University Libraries. Includes both on-line and off-line periodicals. The eclectic, unusual mix of both child-centered and research-focused texts is evidence of some good educator souls behind the project.
  • Internet Resources for Institutional Research.
  • Scholarly Journals Distributed Via the World Wide Web - From the University of Houston Libraries. Links to scholarly journals "that offer access to English language article files without requiring user registration or fees." Quick and easy to use, although currently not as complete as e-journal (above). Check out the UH Libraries home page for other valuable web resources.
  • The Chronicle of Higher Education: Academe this Week - The best-known weekly in higher education. After you find a job, check out their feature “This Week’s Internet Resources.”
  • Education Week on the Web - A rich resource. Includes current issues in education with background information, a separate Teachers' Magazine, a job search engine for K-12 and higher education, and a very nice archival database of all of their published articles since 1989.
  • Harvard Educational Review - Pre-dates the web by over 60 years, but here it is, or at least part of it. Article abstracts only, but full text on book reviews.
  • Midlink Magazine - For middle-school aged children. Features student writing and art. A good place to keep budding writers from perishing.
  • Exploritorium Magazine On-Line -  Searchable archive of past issues.
  • The Australian Educational Researcher

·         AERA Journals In addition to Educational Researcher (published nine times a year), AERA publishes four quarterly journals and the annual periodical Review of Research in Education. You can learn more about each of these publications below.
