Important Dates:

• Camp begins and runs through June 9 - July 24, 2008
• Monday- Friday, with the exception of the last week.
• Camp Boaz will be closed the holiday week of June 30- July 4, 2008.

      We want to welcome you and your child to Camp Boaz! Camp Boaz is designed to address your child’s social, physical, emotional and intellectual needs.  Camp Boaz offers supplemental academic support, enrichment activities!  We believe that children possess a natural love of learning and that learning can be fun.

Our primary concern is your child.  We want each child to experience daily activities where they will be challenged to explore the world, develop the power to think for themselves and meet new situations with ability and understanding.  An appropriate childhood curriculum based on theory, research and experience of how children develop and learn will be taught.  However, a balanced approach will be used that offers a unique blend between camp and school.  Camp Boaz will allow children to build skills and explore special interests at a relaxed ‘summer pace.”  By working together we can make the summer an experience your child will look forward to with enthusiasm!

This handbook outlines the policies and procedures of Camp Boaz and is supplemental to the Boaz City School System handbook.  Read the handbook carefully with your child.  Then sign and return the back page.  This will ensure that you and your child understand our policies and procedures.  Please keep the handbook for future reference.
