Activities

A calendar of events will be sent home by the lead teacher each month and it will be available for viewing on our website at http://www.boazk12.org/campboaz.  This service is provided to help you to plan events around field trips and our arrival time back at school.  However, always check the message board or the Website daily for any updates regarding Camp Boaz.  Trips and activities are subject to change.

 Children are contributing members of our school community and our wider community.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in the upkeep of their school by assuming responsibilities such as: cleaning up their classroom and supporting the school’s anti-litter efforts.  We believe that children are a part of the larger community. Therefore, opportunities for community service will be given throughout the summer such as; assisting with the outdoor community classroom renovation, making cards for nursing home residents, and much more!!

 We believe that learning begins with the family.  Parent involvement in the educational process is crucial in helping children learn.  Parents will be asked to read to and with their children every day and to supervise homework when it is assigned.  Parents are encouraged to maintain regular contact with their child’s teacher.  We invite parents to visit school and to participate in our daily routine.
