DELAWARE SCIENCE
- The state of Delaware Science Curriculum Framework
provides links to state content standards published in
1995. Relevant pages are organized by standard, which
are identified by topic and sub-divided by grade level.

DELAWARE MATHEMATICS
- The state of Delaware Mathematics Curriculum Framework
offers content standards by grade level, as well as
learning events and vignettes with each standard.
Suggestions for making connections with NCTM Standards
are included. The site also features a glossary and
appendices with recommendations for related technology,
physical materials, children's books, and teaching
grades 11 and 12.

MARYLAND -
Online versions of the science and mathematics standards
for the state of Maryland feature a glossary as well as
indicators included in the Maryland Learning Outcomes (MLO).
Science standards at the high school level are
correlated with Science Core Learning Goals (CLG). A
print-friendly PDF version is also available.

NEW JERSEY -
The New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for
Mathematics and Science, presented here in documents
from July 2002, include cumulative progress indicators.
Both subject standards are available in PDF versions.

PENNSYLVANIA -
The Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Mathematics
(available as Word files or PDFs) contain an extensive
illustrated glossary. The Academic Standards for Science
and Technology, which became final in January 2002, are
available as Word files or as PDFs.

WASHINGTON, DC
- The District of Columbia Public Schools' Office for
Academic Services presents PDF files containing
standards for science and mathematics published in
1999-2000. In addition to mathematics standards for
Pre-K through grade 8, the site offers algebra,
geometry, and calculus, as well as general sections
devoted to "Building Thinking Skills" and "Essentials
for Problem Solving" for grades 9-12. Science standards
are available online for Pre- K through grade 1 and
grades 3 through 8.

BENCHMARKS FOR SCIENCE LITERACY
- Benchmarks On-Line is the Web version of a series of
science literacy goals and curriculum-design tools
developed by Project 2061, AAAS's long-term initiative
to reform K-12 science education nationwide. These are
organized by subject matter, such as the Nature of
Science, the Human Organism, the Living Environment, the
Nature of Mathematics, and the Mathematical World. More
general categories include
"Historical Perspectives," "Common Themes," and "Habits
of Mind." A background section describes the project's
related issues, language, and research based.
