Philosophy
The Boaz City Schools System's philosophy of Early Childhood Education for young children is based on the belief that a commitment to children in providing a developmentally appropriate education established on principles of child development and learning supported by research, will produce lasting benefits for children, families and society. We are dedicated to the rights of young children too respectful and supportive learning environment with appropriate expectations and provisions for rich experiences. Responsibilities are assumed to provide strategies or interventions to ensure later school success healthy self-esteem and a sense of community and positive relationships.

The approach to meet these expectations and commitments are through active earning in which children construct knowledge, establishing a supportive climate based on positive adult-child interactions involving families in the preschool setting and creating a teamwork position with teachers, health professionals, outside agencies and school administration. An understanding of human diversity is encouraged and practiced.
