• The Boaz City School System (BCSS) is made up of five schools- Boaz High School, Boaz Middle School, Boaz Intermediate School, Corley Elementary School, and Boaz Elementary School. Additionally, the Boaz Community Education Learning Center serves as an extended learning opportunity center. The school system serves students within the city limits of Boaz and other students outside of the attendance zone based on seats available.

At BCSS we have a vision: Through an expectation of excellence everyday by everyone (E4), we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment to develop and empower productive citizens with the knowledge, skills, and character to achieve their full potential in a rapidly changing world.

This statement is represented in countless ways across the district as our exceptional staff strives to expand opportunities to enhance student learning through personalized 21st century learning. For example, our elementary and intermediate schools provide opportunities for young learners to develop the foundations for future educational success. Another prime example of our vision coming to life is our Career and Technical Education programming. BCSS middle school students are building foundational skills through quality electives such as robotics, and high school students are engaged in learning the hard skills necessary for a career in healthcare, engineering, culinary, and finance/business. Through authentic , real-world learning experiences, they are developing skills required to be competitive and highly employable in a global job market. Our commitment to our vision reaches much further than these few examples, and I challenge you to learn more by exploring our website.

At BCSS, we strive to ensure our schools remain a source of pride for our community. We value community support and input as education is really a partnership involving community members, school personnel, and of course students and their families. We encourage you to become involved in our schools by being a volunteer, attending student events, or serving as a mentor for our students.
