Mrs. Cara Bishop is a first grade teacher at Boaz Elementary School. Miss Cara has both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University and has continued to stay active in the local Alumni Association. She began her career at Saks Elementary School in Calhoun County in 2009, and when the opportunity came along for her to move back to her hometown in 2013 to teach little people, she jumped at the chance! Miss Davis taught PreK for several years before transitioning to a 1st grade position. She became a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts in 2020. In addition to her career, Mrs. Davis also enjoys kayaking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
