  • Information for January 3rd and 4th

    Students will return to school on Thursday, January 3rd. This is a regular 7 period day. School will release at 3:00 instead of 2:15. Friday will also be a regular school day. Information for Tech School Students: Bus 1 students will report both days at 10:45 for 4th period. Bus 2 students will report to library 3rd, 4th, and 5th periods both days.

  • State Champions

    Congratulations to the BHS Men's Swim Team for winning the AHSAA Class 1A-5A State Championship this past weekend. It is the 4th blue trophy won by a Boaz team in history.

  • Yearbooks and Senior Ads Now On Sale

    2018-2019 Yearbooks and Senior Ads are now for sale online. Yearbooks will be $55.00 until December 1st. The price will increase to $60 on December 1st and $65 on Feb. 1st. There are two options available for senior ads: Full Page (12 pics max) for $120 and Half Page (6 pics max) for $60. Pictures for the ad will be due in the spring but you must purchase ad to hold your spot in the yearbook. For more information please email juwalker@boazk12.org.   • Wall of Fame

    The 2018 Wall of Fame ceremony took place on Friday, September 14th. Congratulations to Dot Brasher, Sue Herron, Dr. Phillip Falkner, Dr. Lynn Miller, Fran Milwee, Gary Waldrep, and Bob Weathers for being selected as inductees for this year.   • Boaz High School Named Alabama Bicentennial School

    Gov. Kay Ivey and the Alabama Bicentennial Commission announced the list of 200 schools that were selected at a luncheon in Montgomery. Each institution deemed a bicentennial school was awarded a $2,000 grant that will go toward a project to help educate the community as the State of Alabama celebrates 200 years of being recognized as a state.

    Boaz High School has been named a CLAS School of Distinction. This award recognizes schools or programs that serve as outstanding educational models for other schools in Alabama.
