Child Nutrition Program
The goal of the Boaz City School System Child Nutrition Program is to provide safe and nutritious meals to all of our students. Boaz City participates in the National School Lunch Program, the National School Breakfast Program, Snack Program and the Seamless Summer Feeding Option Program. BCS CNP provides afterschool snacks to our students participating in the Extended Day Program. During the 2024- 2025 School Year, Boaz City Schools will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision which provides meals to all students at no cost to the student. Each student will receive one breakfast and one lunch meal at no cost each school day. No meal benefit application is required for the school year to receive this benefit. Students can purchase additional items such as chips, cookies, ice cream, and water for an additional cost. Parents/guardians can send prepayments for these items to the student’s meal accounts by check, cash or online payments at http://myschoolbucks.com or you can also click on www.boazk12.org and then on the “MySchoolBucks” link under popular links. BCS CNP highly encourages families to prepay by check or online payments. If parents/guardians have questions about summer P-EBT cards, please call 1-800-410-5827. If parents have questions regarding needed documentation for internet service, please contact Mrs. Brandy Tarvin at btarvin@boazk12.org. Please contact Mrs. Brandy Tarvin, CNP Director, with any questions about the Child Nutrition Program, (256) 593-8180. We highly encourage all of our students to participate in the Child Nutrition Program.
