The mission of the Finance Department is to achieve the financial goals of Boaz City Schools by planning, implementing and following financial processes that optimize the resources available to achieve the educational and enrichment goals of the school system.  Annual budgeting and long term forecasting are also essential processes performed by the Finance Department with the goals of meeting the school system's immediate needs as well as future needs.   Built on the foundation of meeting all federal, state and local regulations, the finance department strives to achieve annual external audits with unmodified opinions from an independent audit firm.
