Welcome to Boaz City School's Technology Department! Educational technology's mission is for technology to be a tool to prepare today’s students to become productive, contributing citizens of tomorrow. We strive to provide our students with the resources needed to enhance their academic achievement, our teachers with the support to integrate technology effectively, and our parents with the assurance that their students are safe online while learning.
Technology Coordinator
Aaron New is a 28+ year veteran of the IT Industry. His experience includes work in businesses ranging from Fortune 100 companies to 3 employee doctor's offices. His career started in 1994 in the University of Alabama Continuing Education Office. Most recently, Aaron was the Coordinator of Technology Infrastructure for Madison City Schools in Madison, AL.
Aaron has lived for over 24 years in Sardis City, with his wife of 25 years. They have two 8-year-old children.
