Welcome to a new school year here at BHS! We are excited to have everyone back in regular classes! On the horizon, we see a return to normal activities including Homecoming in the Fall and our traditional Lip Sync in the Spring! I am so excited to witness and take part in these traditional events!
Before we get started with our official first day of school, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my family. I’m a 1995 graduate of Walter Wellborn High School. During my time as a high school student, I played football, wrestled, served on the student council, and I was a member of the yearbook staff. After completing high school, I spent a couple of years at JSU before joining the United States Coast Guard. I served our country proudly for four years of active duty and four years with the Coast Guard Reserve. After completing my active duty service, I returned home to finish college, start my career in education, and raise a family. I have three daughters: Calla (10th grade), Conlie (7th grade), and Caigan (2nd grade). I am very proud to call Boaz my new home, and I will proudly and honorably serve the students of the great City of Boaz!
