PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Welcome to Corley Elementary School! For those of us who grew up in Boaz, Corley is a historic campus that holds lasting memories. Our doors first opened over fifty years ago, but don’t let our age fool you. Corley Elementary School is a vibrant learning community of approximately 440 second and third graders, 50 faculty and staff members, and countless parents, family members, and community partners!
Our students arrive each day filled with energy, curiosity and potential, and they are welcomed by well-equipped, determined faculty and staff members who embody the spirit of our Boaz City Schools motto: Anchored in Excellence. In fulfillment of our BCS Strategic Plan, we are committed to excellent instructional practices and student support, twenty-first century resources, and continuous improvement.
Parents, you entrust us with your children, and we strive each day to meet them where they are; ensure a safe, student-centered learning environment; and provide the learning opportunities, resources and support they need to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
Boaz is a wonderful place to call home. I am honored to serve in Boaz City Schools and as Principal of Corley Elementary School. Here’s to a great school year!
