Welcome to the Boaz Intermediate School Computer Lab. During 1st semester, 5th grade students work on a PLTW project in Infection Detection, learning how germs spread, while 4th graders work on Energy Collision using The Design Process. After PLTW projects are completed each week during Computer Class, students learn the correct keyboarding skills.  Students work on using correct fingers and the correct techniques in order to become keyboarding experts. We also work on assignments in Google Classroom using Google Drawing, Google Docs and Google Slides.  Our students are able to gain technology and engineering skills to help them decide if they would like to continue a career path that would include the use of one or both of the skills.
