Mrs. Talese Berry

Mrs. Talese Berry grew up in the Boaz area and graduated from Sardis High School. She attended the University of Alabama and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders in 1995. She completed her Master's degree in Communicative Disorders while working in the Marshall County School District. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association. She began teaching at Boaz Elementary School as the Speech-Language Pathologist Teacher in 2018. Talese lives in Rainsville with her husband and two sons. She enjoys riding horses and traveling with her family. She is so excited to be back in Boaz!

Mrs. Amy Creech

Amy Creech has been teaching special education since 1998. She graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She continued her studies at Auburn and completed her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education in 1998. Amy began her career with Marshall County Schools and has continued teaching special education with Boaz City Schools since 2004. She became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2011, and is currently a special education teacher at Boaz Elementary School. Amy lives in Boaz with her husband and son.

Mrs. Carmen Phillips

Carmen Phillips attended Athens State University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2001. She completed her Master’s degree in Special Education in 2017. She is also a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Carmen began working at Boaz Elementary School as a Special Education teacher in 2017. Carmen has a daughter, Savannah who is married, and two boys, Brody and Dawson.  Carmen enjoys living on the family farm in Blount County.
