Ms. Plunkett is a 1995 graduate of Boaz High School. She then went to Jacksonville State University where she got her BS Degree in Elementary Education.  She then graduated in 2004 from the University of Alabama with her Master's Degree in Elemenatary Education.  

Ms. Plunkett began her teaching career as 5th grade Math teacher at Douglas Elementary School then moved to Boaz City School Sytem in 2004, where she started teaching 2nd grade. 

Ms. Plunkett has two daughters and enjoys time with her family, friends, and students.
