- Coach Walker teaches intervention math and reading, transition, Geometry, Algebra I, and can be seen in inclusive classrooms.  The 2021/2022 school year will be her 25th year to teach and her 20th at BHS.  She also coaches cross country, is SGA sponsor, and teaches reading and creative writing for ACCESS.

- She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Alabama. 

- She is married to Tim, and they have one son, Zeb (who is a chemical engineer in Tennessee).  She also has 2 cats.

- She enjoys reading, traveling, watching sports (especially the Boaz Pirates and the Tide), and just enjoying life.
