Coach Patrick Williams is the assistant principal and athletic director.  He is a 1988 graduate of Boaz High School.  He and his wife LaShea have been married for 26 years, and they have a daughter McKenna , who is a law school student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  They also have a deceased son Peyton, who passed away at age 13.

Coach Williams wears a lot of hats.  Aside from duties at BHS, he also does the play-by-play for Boaz High School football on WBSA radio 93.5 FM and AM 1300.  He is the head coach of the Boaz Swim Team.  He has been coaching the team for 24 years.  In 2014, the Boaz Swim Team won the ARPA State Swim Championship.  Coach Williams is the football stadium announcer at Jacksonville State University.  He also has been a public address announcer at the AHSAA basketball state tournament every year since 2000.

Coach Williams is a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church where he teaches the Adult Sunday School Sanctuary Class.  He also sings in the choir and serves as a deacon.  Coach Williams wants his whole identity not to be with all of the other things he's involved in, but in Christ and Christ alone.
