Ms. White is a 1999 graduate of Crossville High School.  She attended Snead State Community College and Gadsden State Community College before transferring to Auburn University Montgomery where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2004.  In 2006 she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Auburn University Montgomery. In 2014, she completed the UTeach program at Columbus State University for Secondary Science Education. 

Ms. White began teaching science in 2014 at a private college preparatory school in Smiths Station, Alabama. She is very excited to be teaching Biology and Environmental Science, and sharing her love of learning and passion for science with the students at Boaz High School! She focuses on creating a classroom atmosphere that exemplifies the quote by Benjamin Franklin, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
