I graduated from Albertville High School in 1990.  Snead State was my first stop in my post-secondary journey.  I earned my Associates' Degree in Secondary Math Education at Snead State in 1992.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State University in Secondary Math Education in 1995.  I got my Masters' Degree and Educational Specialist Degrees from the University of Alabama in 2003.

I have been married since 1997 and we have a son who was born in 2006.  We are huge Atlanta Braves fans and baseball fans in general.
