Mrs. Micaela Thornhill

Micaela Thornhill teaches second grade at Corley Elementary. She is a 2014 graduate from Sardis High School, and she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University in 2018. She plans on returning to college to pursue her Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Daniel Thornhill. They currently don’t have any children, but plan on it in the future. However, they do have a very spoiled dog named Piper! Mrs. Thornhill loves to spend her free time outdoors, riding her bicycle, and exercising at Sand Mountain CrossFit. She has always wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl. Teaching has challenged her in many ways, but has also blessed her life abundantly! Mrs. Thornhill looks forward to many more years teaching little minds and shouting ROLL TIDE!!
