Ms. Renae Mosley
Renae Mosley has been teaching since 1986/1987. After graduating from Boaz High School and Snead State Community College, Renae received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University and her Master's Degree from the University of Alabama. She taught Kindergarten for 20 years and Pre-K for 15 years. She was also the director of the Extended Day and Camp Boaz programs at Boaz Elementary, as well as an adjunct instructor of Early Childhood at Athens State University, Gadsden State Community College and Snead State Community College. Renae retired from teaching full-time in 2020 but returned part-time to teach Kindergarten and First grade students virtually in 2021. The next few years she worked as the Parent and Community Engagement Coordinator. Renae will be working this year with The Parents as Teachers program as a Parent Educator and is excited for this new learning opportunity!
Renae has two daughters, Ashley and Anna, who are both educators. She is known as "Nae Nae" to her five sweet grandbabies: Harper, Hudson, Hadley, Heyden, and Hollis. Ms. Renae also has a beautiful step-granddaughter, Savannah, who lives in Birmingham.
She is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and in her spare time, she loves going to Auburn ball games, the beach, running/walking, biking, kayaking, reading and spending time with her family.
