Student Information System Update

New for this school year, we are changing our student information system from Chalkable to PowerSchool.  This system change will allow you to access more real-time student information.

Instructions on how to create your parent account, including your student's unique access ID and password, will be sent home with your student on Wednesday, September 22nd.

What is PowerSchool?
PowerSchool is the student information system used by the Boaz City School System.  PowerSchool will allow you to access student grades, attendance, classroom calendar, contact your teacher and more.

When can I start using PowerSchool?
PowerSchool will be available for parent account creation, and use, starting Wednesday, September 22nd.  Instructions on how to create your parent account, including your student's unique access ID and password, will be sent home with your student on Wednesday.  You will not be able to create or access your account prior to receiving your student's unique access ID and password.

How do I use PowerSchool?
After creating your parent account using the instruction and student ID information that is being sent home on Wednesday, September 22nd, you can access PowerSchool via the PowerSchool website or mobile app.  A quick-link to the PowerSchool website can be found on the homepage of each school's website.  A quick-link to PowerSchool is also available in the BCSS app.
